Our office equipment is state-of-the-art, which includes the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment planning, keeping in mind both comfort and speed.

My practice philosophy is to treat based on using the most appropriate and efficient treatment type at an ideal age depending on the orthodontic problem. . In young patients, growth and timing is extremely important. By examining a child starting at the age of 7, we can intercept developing problems and correct them to an extent sometimes not possible at a later age We are proactive in treating children and often use an early age to modify the size, shape and position of the jaws while growth is taking place. Also, we can make the jaws the right size to fit all of the permanent teeth that will come in. This may require a treatment plan that will be carried out in two sequential phases. The first phase may begin while a child has both permanent and baby teeth, to take advantage of the ability to manipulate skeletal growth and development. This concept may becomes of importance in many cases if orthodontic treatment is delayed until all permanent teeth are present. The window of opportunity to affect facial growth that might be a contributing factor to the dental or skeletal malformation (problem) may be reduced or missed. The second phase of treatment is then started once the permanent teeth are present. Not to worry though, if your child is a little older, we still have great treatment options. The only way to determine which type of orthodontic treatment is the most appropriate for your child is to have a comprehensive examination at our office. Our exams are complimentary. During this examination we can determine and then thoroughly discussed which treatment approach will be best for your child.
