The fees quoted include all of the procedures and visits we do in our clinic. This also includes the retention phase of full orthodontics and one year of follow-up visits. If you do not have a current x-ray, an imaging center (there are many to choose from in Switzerland) or your dentist can take one for you.

Financial

We offer a convenient payment plan for our traditional transparent or metallic braces of only 195.- per month, with no downpayment and no interest. The cost of treatment depends upon the severity of a patient's problem. The exact, comprehensive fee will be given on the first appointment after the clinical exam, and you will be able to discuss payment options before treatment begins.If you are considering Clear Aligners or lingual braces, you may also pay your treatment fee with monthly payments of only 195.- and with no downpayment and no interest. However, Clear Aligners and the lingual braces laboratory require their laboratory fee upfront (half due at the impression appointment and the other half the next month). We at orthodontie1.ch are not willing to let finances stand in the way of your family members having the very best orthodontic treatment available. That is why we offer various payment options with no interest or finance charge to fit your lifestyle. These include:

• Monthly Payment:

  We offer flexible, no interest monthly payment plans with no down payment. We ask that you pay at least 195.- SF per month. The monthly payments are not related to the treatment time, and most treatments will be finished before all of the monthly payments are made. If you have insurance, we can accept assignment of most insurance plans.

• Payment in Full:

  Take advantage of our 5% bookkeeping (3% for mild treatment) courtesy if payment is made in full at the beginning of treatment.

• Automatic Monthly Payments:

  Monthly payments can be automatically deducted from your bank account.

• Alternative Payment Methods:

  Your bank and GE Money Bank also offer private financing for orthodontics.

Your treatment fee covers all appliances, routine appointments, your first set of retainers, retainer check appointments for a year, and any observation appointments between early treatment and phase 2 treatment if needed. If you lose or break your retainers or if you have a removable appliance that is lost or broken, there is a laboratory fee for replacement or repair.

In cases of delinquent monthly payments more than 60 days past due, we can only maintain the progress made. If the account is more than 90 days past du treatment will be discontinued, although we will make every effort to accommodate patients with temporary difficulties. Insurance

If you have insurance, the insurance company should reimburse you for a portion of the orthodontic treatment. Please check with your insurance policy to see the percent they cover, the amount they cover each year and the range of point values they cover. Obviously, the advanced treatments have a higher point value, so the basic orthodontic policies may not cover the full point value range. Ultimately, professional care is provided to you, our patient, and not to an insurance company. In effect, the patient is responsible to the doctor and the insurance company is responsible to the patient. Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party will need to make up for for any unpaid insurance charges.

We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf, but please remember that insurance companies look to keep their expenses low. So review carefully if your policy covers pre-existing conditions, the percent of the fee they cover, the deductible, the annual limit and the maximum limit, etc.. Also, if you have flexibility,please keep in mind the the largest expense of treatment is when the orthodontic appliances are placed.

It is therefore important to carefully consider the following points:

• If your policy covers pre-existing conditions
• The percentage of coverage of the fee
• The franchise
• The annual limit
• The maximum
• etc.

Also, if you have the flexibility, keep in mind that the biggest expense of treatment is incurred during the installation of braces or appliances.
