• At your first visit, with the clinical examination, we will be able to tell you how you your child can benefit from orthodontic treatment, when treatment should start, how long it may be, and the fees related to treatment. The next step will be diagnostic records. Complete diagnostic records usually include a medical/dental history, clinical examination, study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and x-rays. The x-rays will be taken at a specialized x-ray laboratory. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of their treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
